diiVe Consulting Mentor Position: Part-Time, Summer Hire (June – August 2022)
Description
We are looking for ambitious, talented and high performing Masters Students to join our consulting projects, as mentors, over the summer months and develop the foundational consulting skills, learning from consultants (ex-EY, BCG and McKinsey) and global business leaders. As Consulting Mentors, you will gain real-world consulting experience through mentoring undergraduate teams on real world client projects.
Our consulting projects range across sectors (from retail, to financial services, to sustainability) for large global companies to small startups, and focus on management, business and strategy consulting (depending on the project). This role involves being a Consulting Mentor for one of our student teams on their client project. They will need to build the client relationships, write the briefs, manage a team of students on a program from across multiple time zones on a project, and ensure all deliverables are met.
Our Consulting Mentor position is usually open to post-graduate students who are looking for management consulting experience and international work exposure and have experience leading teams in the workplace previously.
Requirements
While no prior experience in consulting experience is required to apply for this position (as we have consultants in house that provide training to our mentors), we are currently looking for Masters students who:
- Possess 2-3 years work experience (does not have to be consecutive, prior summer internships are considered as prior work experience)
- Are currently enrolled at university or have recently graduated
- Are high performing students who want to explore the world of consulting and its many career opportunities
- Possess a keen interest in solving business and organizational challenges and are able to think differently
- Have already demonstrated themselves as a leader at university and outside of university
- Possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Are able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Have excellent oral and written skills
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 required to apply
- Past consulting experience is advantageous

diiVe Program Coordinator Position: Full Time (Start Date May/June 2022)
Description
We are looking for ambitious, talented and high performing Masters students and recent graduates interested in project management, business operations and international business to join our small team in Cape Town. diiVe collectively possess over 40+ years experience in education and consulting, working in both the public and private sector with leading local and international organizations, executive teams, community members and secondary/tertiary educational institutions.
Our Program Coordinator position is in charge of organizing our global consulting programs for students from all over the world, supporting business operations and business management as well as program support during the January and June programs we run. We run fast-paced, intensive global consulting internships for undergraduate students from around the world, training them for excelling in our New Normal. We have partnerships with leading global institutions (including Harvard, St. Andrews, UCT and Brown University). The position is very unique and requires adaptability, business acumen, project management skills and a start up mentality.
Requirements

- Have demonstrated project management skills with prior experience

- Are willing to work overseas / globally
- Previous consulting experience is advantageous
