Summer diiVe
Remote 2025
This is a high-impact, fully remote 7-week consulting internship program featuring a 2-week consulting bootcamp and a 5-week hands-on, project-based internship. We strategically place you in a team of peers and a client. From day one, you hit the ground running with your project mentor, who will guide you as you research your client and the project they’ve assigned to you, ideate on solutions, interview stakeholders, and eventually present a final project over the course of 5 weeks. This is a deep dive into consulting, global work and teaming experience to build future-ready skills from the comfort of your work-from-home environment.
Weeks 1-2: diiVers participate in our online consulting training, building virtual business & consulting skills, developing knowledge of key trends and ensuring you can manage projects effectively in virtual teams.
Weeks 3-7: diiVers consult remotely for a leading company based in South Africa on a focused project. You’ll work in teams, gain support from external mentors, and apply your learnings from Week 1 to ensure you deliver innovative and sustainable solutions by Week 7.
Although we are not running a data science program this summer, diiVers have the option to choose between a consulting internship that is more business focused or data driven. For those students that want to leverage their data analytics, forecasting or modeling skills through their work, we advise a data driven internship. If accepted into the program, you can request your preferred internship.
No, diiVe has only Summer and Winter Internship opportunities. Throughout the program, we provide diiVers with professional coaching and exposure to career opportunities in the consulting world and beyond to help them better define their purpose and career direction. We also will have broader discussions and learning opportunities with the entire diiVe cohort to promote relationship-building, and connection. We also conduct a case study review session for those students interested in applying for the big consulting houses.
